CMAA curbs misuse of its cars

The Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA) is putting an end to the unauthorized use of its vehicles.

The CMAA issued a statement on Thursday, August 2, aimed at those officials who have been using CMAA vehicles without permission.  This refers primarily to the three pick-ups with green “State” license plates.

The CMAA has ordered that the vehicles be returned by August 10.

Should the persons in question not comply,  the CMAA will react by giving the delinquent’s names and positions the media and take legal action by filing complaints to the police, the courts, and the Anti-Corruption Unit.
